Brazilian team coach, Cadu Polazzo believes in evolution in the performance of the athletes in the stage of Germany
After facing the cold of the Czech Republic, Brazilian Mountain Bike Team prepares to play this weekend (30th and 31st) another stage of the XCO MTB World Cup in Albstadt, Germany. This will be the second challenge followed by Brazilian competitors on European soil.
For the coach Cadu Polazzo, the team is evolving more and more firmly in the dispute for vacancies in the Olympic Games of Rio de Janeiro in 2016.
“In the first stage, the male elite did not have the expected result, but in the female athletes exceeded expectations. Now the focus is on the next stage of Germany. We will try to fight for better positions,”says Cadu Polazzo, coach of the MTB team.
Under the command of coach Cadu Polazzo, the Brazilian team called by the CBC (Brazilian Cycling Confederation) will be represented by athletes Henrique Avancini, Rubens Donizete and Ricardo Pscheidt, in the Men’s Elite; Raiza Goulão and Isabela Lacerda in Women’s Elite; Besides Luiz Henrique Cocuzzi, in the Under-23.
Cadu Polazzo is a physical trainer and Master in Exercise Physiology and Sports Training. Currently, he is part of the technical committee of the Brazilian Mountain Bike Team and is the coach of several athletes of the Brazilian MTB Elite, such as Olympic athlete Rubens Donizete, Isabella Lacerda, Raiza Goulão, Sofia Subtil, Daniel Grossi and José Gabriel de Almeida.
